Cider house was my fourth institution that I went to or was taken to. Feb 1 1980 was my last drink and I will always be eternally grateful that they had a bed for me that day. A man was brought into the room during the night we were all told to go in the other room as he was attended to. That man was 43 and didn’t live thru the night due to alcohol poising. That was a turning point for me as I was 43 at the time. I still attend 3 or 4 AA meetings a week and would encourage anyone that is as ad
