When I was 18 years old I was sent to COPAC.. it was amazing and it changed my life. Not sure how it is now I’m 40 years old now but COPAC was amazing for me

I went to Copac in the 90’s. I was a nurse with an opiate addiction much to my shame. It was awful. The patients ran the AA meetings speaking of the blind leading the blind and structured therapy consisted of teaching addicts to plan a weekly menu then taking a van to shop for groceries. I already knew how to do that. They kept me until the day my insurance ran out then declared me functional and put me on a plane home. Please Don’t send yourself or anyone else there.
