• 21.9% abuse both alcohol and another substance.
• 20.4% abuse cocaine.
• 20.2% abuse marijuana.

Addressing Drug and Alcohol Issues in Baton Rouge Baton Rouge authorities are very much aware of the impact of drug and alcohol abuse in their city. As a result, a number of different intervention options have been put into place to help those who currently suffer from an addiction, or those who are heading towards it. These include detox and rehab treatment. Baton Rouge is home to the Hope Networks, which is a national organization that puts systems in place to lower the socioeconomic impact of substance abuse and addiction.
